DOORS CLOSE MARCH 30TH AT 3PM PDT

One of the things I hear from PT and AT professionals is that in their day to day, they get good results, but they feel like they are still missing something. That ā€œsomethingā€ prevents them from having the confidence to guarantee those results for their clients and leaves them wondering if it is possible to have even better outcomes like fewer treatment sessions needed.

Feeling like they are missing something causes them to be stuck in a loop, repeating these FOUR common mistakes:

1ļøāƒ£ Learning more and more techniques for treatment:ā£

CE courses give us more tools, but outcomes stay mediocre at best, taking weeks or months. Maybe the issue isnā€™t the techniquesā€”itā€™s the framework weā€™re working in. šŸ§ā£

2ļøāƒ£ Chasing biomechanics and movement dysfunction:ā£

Yes, movement matters, but the body chooses patterns for survival. Dysfunction isnā€™t randomā€”itā€™s the result of deeply embedded neurological patterns to protect the organs and organism.ā£

3ļøāƒ£ Thinking time, the patient, or pain is the problem:ā£

Yes, healing takes time. Yes, patients can be non-compliant. Yes, pain can centralize. But letā€™s be realā€”these are often excuses. Better results are possible, we just lack the right assessment framework.ā£

4ļøāƒ£ Chasing symptoms and pain session after session:ā£

Even when we know we shouldnā€™t, we still do it. With so many treatment options, itā€™s hard not to. But without a clear assessment sequence, weā€™re just guessingā€”and frustrating both ourselves and our patients.ā£

Sound familiar? Youā€™re not alone. These mistakes keep us stuck.ā£

Most professionals overlook the influence of the viscera and nervous system on pain and function. They also struggle to trust the bodyā€™s wisdom to guide treatment, ultimately guessing where to start.ā£

When you know where to start by listening to the body you will get fast results that stick using ANY tool or treatment approach you like (yes, ANY tool: manual therapy, massage, dry needles, cups, exercise, pilates, neurology, IASTM, tape, whatever floats your boat šŸ˜œ.)

Iā€™ve helped thousands of professionals break free from this cycle by making ONE change to their assessment. Theyā€™ve gone from frustrated and stuck to confident in their ability to guarantee resultsā€”even in complex casesā€”without having to learn another treatment system.

      Now itā€™s your turn.ā£

          Hey! Iā€™m Anna.

Iā€™m so glad you landed here today! Iā€™m an athletic trainer, sports healthcare and movement educator, anatomy nerd, podcaster, fun aunty, and constant learner based in San Diego, California.

I love lounging in a hammock with a good book (or for a nap), any type of chips and dip, Topo Chico lime, Olipop, or sparkling water, staying active, and asking good questions.

You can usually find me on a plane headed to take care of one of my professional athletes, teaching PTs and ATs in my signature course the LTAPā„¢ Level 1, taking care of my house plants, hanging at the beach, or being a volunteer deckhand with Gone Whale Watching (the BEST whale watching company in Southern California, BTW) and trying to live out my wildlife photography dreams.

In my business, MovementREV, LLC, I provide private consulting to professional athletes for injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance optimization. I also teach physical therapists and athletic trainers how to get better outcomes, even for complex cases, using my unique methodology combining an osteopathic approach with a traditional orthopedic approach for assessment and treatment (manual and exercise-based) for injuries, pain, and performance.

This approach considers the whole organism- including the viscera and the nervous system, not just the musculoskeletal system and the biomechanics. Better outcomes mean fewer treatment sessions needed, less time spent repeating techniques, and the confidence to guarantee results for their patients and know when there are red flags.
